ASK Receives Certificate of Appreciation for Involvement in E-Pathways Program

Since 1993 we have been devoted to caring for our staff and providing them with professional, and personal, growth opportunities. We believe that when good ethics are aligned with good business, then we will have a positive impact on the lives of our customers and those in our community.

One of ASK’s Core Values is to lend our time and resources to charitable and community causes. In doing so, this allows our staff to grow stronger as individuals and as employees – which makes us stronger as a company. To help support our core values, we developed a program called ASK Cares. ASK Cares provides opportunities for our staff members to reach out to the larger community to invest their time, talents and resources to make a difference in the lives of others.

Through ASK Cares, members of our staff have supported and volunteered their time to organizations like Volunteers of America, Saint Vincent Catholic Charities, ITEC and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. One of our most recent contributions has been with the Capital Area Tech Knowledge E-Pathways program.

The E-Pathways program was designed to grow and develop the emerging IT talent. This program consisted of various professional development workshops, job shadows and other hands-on learning opportunities. More than 330 individuals in the Greater Lansing area have taken advantage of this program. As a result of the E-Pathways program, more than one thir d of the students have secured an IT position, and many more have continued their education in the IT field.

ASK has been honored to be part of the E-Pathways program and assisting in the development of IT professionals. We look forward to future opportunities in which we can help train and educate those interested in the IT workforce.
